Welcome to Crit & Ale LLC ("Crit & Ale," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, purchasing tickets, booking services, or attending our events, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Availability, pricing, and event details are subject to change without notice.
2. Ticket Purchases
Tickets purchased through our website or authorized partners are valid only for the event listed.
Tickets may not be resold for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Unless otherwise stated, admission is only guaranteed for the specific date and time purchased.
3. Event Participation
Many Crit & Ale events are interactive experiences.
Guests choose their level of participation. While participation is encouraged, no guest will be required to perform, speak publicly, or participate beyond their comfort level.
Guests agree to behave respectfully toward staff, venue employees, performers, and fellow attendees.
We reserve the right to remove any guest whose behavior is disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, intoxicated to the point of causing problems, or otherwise interferes with the enjoyment or safety of others. No refund will be issued in these situations.
4. Game Integrity
Our entertainment experiences are built on original creative content, including murder mystery storylines, trivia questions, game mechanics, puzzles, scripts, scoring systems, and other proprietary materials.
To preserve the experience for all guests, attendees may not reproduce, distribute, livestream, publish, sell, or use our original game materials or event content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Crit & Ale LLC.
Guests are welcome to take personal photos and videos during events unless otherwise announced by Crit & Ale or the hosting venue. However, recording or sharing content that reveals major story twists, murder mystery solutions, trivia answer sheets, puzzle solutions, or other elements that could diminish future guest experiences is discouraged.

5. Age Requirements
Unless otherwise stated, event age requirements are listed on each event page.
Some venues may impose additional restrictions that must also be followed.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian whenever required by the event listing or venue.
6. Venue Rules
Many Crit & Ale events are hosted at partner venues.
Guests agree to follow both these Terms of Service and any rules established by the hosting venue.
Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All original games, murder mysteries, trivia questions, written materials, graphics, branding, logos, photographs, and other creative works produced by Crit & Ale LLC remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
No portion may be reproduced, redistributed, recorded for commercial use, or republished without written permission.
8. Photography and Media
Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during public events for promotional purposes.
By attending a public event, you grant Crit & Ale LLC permission to use photographs or video in marketing materials, social media, and our website without additional compensation.
If you prefer not to appear in promotional media, please notify a staff member before the event begins. We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request.
9. Assumption of Risk
By attending our events, guests acknowledge that participation in live entertainment involves ordinary risks associated with public gatherings.
Guests voluntarily assume these risks and agree to participate responsibly.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crit & Ale LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our website or attendance at our events.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable ticket or booking.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
11. Website Availability
We strive to keep our website available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that all information will always be free of errors.
12. Third-Party Services
Our website may include links or integrations provided by third parties, including payment processors and venue partners.
We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of third-party websites or services.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Kansas without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time.
Continued use of our website or attendance at future events constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
